Softline Solutions is the leading recreational surfacing supplier throughout Canada, originally founded to research and fulfill the need for safer, cleaner and sustainable playground and recreation surfaces. That research led to the manufacturing of Pour in Place safety surfacing systems, thus innovating for other unique surfacing systems today. Softline Solutions make sure their products meet global safety standards without compromising the environmental footprint.
ATB Tower Daycare – Edmonton, Canada
Built beneath road level, this courtyard play surface covers up to 3,000 square feet, utilizing the FirstBase Pour In Place Playground Rubber Surfacing with PaintTop Coatings that are fully customizable. There were 1,092 tires recycled for this play area!
Broadmoor Park – Edmonton, Canada
A big project covering over 10,000 square feet, Softline Solutions was contracted for more than playground surfacing. Broadmoor Park needed their additional services to remove the old playground, excavate the land, and install a new service building, concrete works, equipment and waterpark. The FirstBase Playground Surfacing was installed throughout the playground, with the FlexiStep Pathway Surfacing used for the pathways and slip-resistant SealFloor Aquatic Surfacing used in the waterpark area, finished with waterproof SplashSafe Coating to reduce fungi growth.
Legacy Centre Rooftop Playground, Slave Lake – Alberta Canada
This rooftop playground features Softline Solutions own rubber mounds and artificial turf. After the Pour in Place surfacing was installed (which took about 2,311 recycled tires!), the patterns and colors were added to commemorate the wildfires that have occurred in the Slave Lake area in years past.
Nutrien Playland (formerly PotashCorp Playland) – Saskatoon, Canada
This bright 3,000-6,000 square foot project required 4,249 recycled tires to create an aesthetically pleasing play surface! Since the playground is built on an incline, rubber surfacing as installed on concrete steps and hills to increase traction during busy play times.
Redstone Playground – Calgary, Canada
Inspired by the Redstone community, this park’s surfacing looks just like inspiration behind it: the community logo! With unique surfacing design capabilities, Softline Solutions was able to design a park that pleased, with 2,777 tires recycled to create this play site.
